Art+Wine nights
Art+Wine nights: Every other Friday 7-9pm.
Bring your favorite vintage and join us for a lovely evening of art and culture. You'll have fun, learn about painting, and go home with a unique artwork. We keep classes small and the atomsphere friendly. Meet your neighbors and support your community. Your participation will help fund the art program at the Griffin School, a non-profit high school. 21 and up. See the upcoming paintings on the right on our Google Checkout widget. [$35 fee. Do you love music? Get excited for new albums? Read music reviews? Hang out at record stores? Then Youth Spin: Austin Music Journalism Camp is for you! Join Austin's vibrant music scene and produce a radio show to air city-wide and live on 91.7FM KOOP Radio. You will connect to the local Austin music scene, record live music performances, and create features about the music you love! Learn skills in audio recording and production, journalism, and leadership. Students will dive right in and work with local musicians, writers, and radio producers. Make Your Mark: Arts Summer Camp
July 15-August 2. Three weeks (M-F) 12:30-3:30
In this camp, rising 6th-9th graders participate in a variety of art workshops focused on exploring the tools and techniques of visual expression. Students work with local artists and try out a variety of media. Students' efforts culminate in an arts opening at the end of the camp.
